Exhibit at NLADA's Annual Conference

During this year's conference, attendees will be encouraged to visit the exhibit hall representing
the neighborhoods of Washington, DC. Attendees will be given a passport in which to collect stamps from each of the designated neighborhoods. Attendees who obtain a high number of stamps in their passport will be eligible for a prize drawing. We anticipate full participation from conference attendees.

Sentencing Project Director to Speak at Defender Caucus


Marc Mauer
, director of The Sentencing Project will be the featured speaker at this year's Defender Caucus. Mauer will speak on the role of the defender in supporting racial justice, building on some of the ideas discussed in The Sentencing Project's recently released  report, a revised edition of  Reducing Racial Disparity in the Criminal Justice System: A Manual for Practitioners and Policymakers.  The report is available at: www.sentencingproject.org.
