Sentencing Project Director to Speak at Defender Caucus
Marc Mauer, director of
The Sentencing Project will be the featured speaker
at this year's Defender Caucus. Mauer will speak on the
role of the defender in supporting racial justice,
building on some of the ideas discussed in The
Sentencing Project's recently released report, a
revised edition of Reducing Racial Disparity in the
Criminal Justice System: A Manual for Practitioners and
Policymakers. The report is available at:
